About

After college I figured I should probably find a job so I thought “why not move to South Korea to teach English”.

That came out sounding pretty impulsive.

I’ve been wanting to live overseas since I was a small child.  I always had the travel bug, long before I ever set foot on an airplane.  In 2015 I came to teach English in Cheonan, South Korea. After that I taught at a secondary school in Bangkok, Thailand for a year. I went to language school in Taiwan when I finished working Thailand and then the pandemic hit.

Right now I’m working in Japan while eating lots of mochi and yakisoba.

Hopefully if you read this blog, you will realize living in or visiting a different country is not impossible, and if I can do it, you can too.
