One half of Hongdae is crowded and chaotic.

But the other half is calm and quiet with plenty of trees and little two-story houses.  One house in particular belongs to the You Are Here Cafe.

Simon and Martina run the website Eatyourkimchi, a truly wonderful guide for anyone wanting to visit or move to South Korea, and they opened the shop along with the Talk to me in Korean team.  It’s a place for people to relax, sip some coffee, and to work on their Korean skills.

The mango milkshake was wonderful, but was it worth seven bucks?  I suppose I am also paying for real estate in a pleasant section of Seoul, and I will fork over cash for that.
